About the Event
The Cyber Security Club of GTU-GSET organized a program on “Cyber Security Awareness with Case Study” with the guest speaker being Shri Amit Vasava, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Cell Ahmedabad City. The main objective of this program was to educate individuals on safe computing and their responsibility in protecting their information and assets.
Flow of the event:
Awareness regarding various categories of cyber-crimes such as cyber fraud, social media bullying, hacking and unauthorized access.
Guest Speaker shared his professional experience related to the cyber crime cases encountered.
Awareness regarding different laws related to cyber crime such as Section 506 IPC, 507 IPC, 500 IPC, 354D IPC, 354A IPC, 66C IT Act, 66E IT Act, 67 IT Act, 67A IT Act, POSH Act etc.
The Guest speaker concluded with some of the cases he came across where social engineering and cyber bullying played a big role. He made the students…
